The second European edition of the Book of Mormon was printed in England in the year 1849. Orson Pratt was instrumental in the printing process of this edition. The second edition followed the style and wording of the first European edition. The first European edition was printed with the permission of Joseph Smith by J. Tompkins in Liverpool, England. It is essentially a reprinting of the 1837 edition with British spellings. |
