The mission of the David O. McKay Library is to support BYU-Idaho's mission of developing disciples of Jesus Christ who are leaders in their homes, the Church, and their communities.

The library does this by:

• Collecting, organizing and making available appropriate materials to help students be successful in their academic, spiritual and personal pursuits
• Assisting patrons in locating, evaluating and managing information
• Maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning "even by study and also by faith" (Doctrine & Covenants 88:118; 109:7)
